Training

Alan Ross Consulting is able to deliver a range of training courses to meet your needs on a variety of different topics. Each course can be tailored to meet your specific needs and can be delivered either at your own premises or another venue.

The courses are intended to provide a structured but light-hearted look at relevant issues to enable key staff to carry out their roles in a more effective manner.

Each course lasts either a half-day or a full day and some courses include practical demonstrations of laboratory testing (by prior arrangement). Longer courses are available on request.

Courses available include

• Textile testing

• Flammability of textiles

• Sampling and inspection of consumer products

• General Product Safety

• Developing performance  and/or product specifications

• Raising awareness of Ethical Trading Initiative Base Code

• Health & Safety (can include modules on specific aspects such as fire safety, risk assessment, managing H&S, etc. by request)

• Developing Quality Management Systems
